There are a lot of CPU32 BDM
solutions around at the moment but not many of them draw on the experience
of a design team that has worked on in-circuit emulator designs since
the early 1980s. So it hardly needs to be stated that there are consequently
not many BDM solutions which are backed up by fully compatible in-circuit
emulator solutions.

Features
Flex-BDM/CPU32 is different from
the common BDM cable solutions because Flex-BDM/CPU32 includes custom logic
and a control processor, enhancing the debugging capabilities beyond the
basic BDM specification. For example, Flex-BDM/CPU32’s unique fast
break hardware allows your program variables to be automatically updated
in debugger windows during target execution. The fast break hardware also
allows you to write data to your target without having to manually break
execution.
The hardware's high speed bi-directional parallel communications interface
produces very fast debugger response to changes within your target so you
don’t waste time waiting for window updates.
Special electrical protection ensures that there are no target power up
restrictions and that your PC is 100% protected from the target’s own
electrical environment.
Target signals, such as Vcc, bus error and target reset, are monitored in
real-time providing you with instant information about conditions within
your 683xx embedded system.
